Fancy greetings to y'all!
It's me, your scrubby, couch potato overlord.

So in my very recent weekends, I deviated from my usual wont of routines. Believe it or not, I spent the day in a library instead of locking myself in a closet playing Diablo 3.

I know, what a ludicrous notion.

I spent most of that day browsing art books and gallery books.

The look on people's faces when I had dozen stacks of books tucked under both arms. Hehe...

While in the midst of my perusal, I would sometimes bust out my sketch book and do life sketching of statue-like people who are so immersed in their readings, they barely moved an inch.

And while I didn't learn anything particularly new that day.
It was a fresh experience to say the least.

Having to observe life in the moment with your very own eyes brings about a feeling more sophisticated and intricate to what reference from internet can bring.

Watching an elderly with his lazy half closed eyes, swaying ever so slightly from his sitting, while attempting to read the infuriatingly small letters imprinted on his novel; brings out so much more character than a stand-still reference ever could.

And to relish the moment by leaving a mark on my sketchbook; Is such an amazing experience.

I can only hope nobody saw me smiling creepily to myself while I stalked the old guy with my pencil.
